Supporting the Next Generation

Education Initiatives

The ACF Black Hills Chapter is deeply committed to culinary education at all levels. We actively support student culinarians at both the collegiate and high school levels, helping to develop the next generation of culinary professionals in the Black Hills region.

Chapter Education

Our chapter hosts regular educational events including culinary demonstrations, technique workshops, and professional development sessions. These programs are open to all members and provide hands-on learning opportunities with experienced culinary professionals.

Mitchell Technical College

The ACF Black Hills Chapter proudly supports the culinary program at Mitchell Technical College. We provide scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and connections to professional networks for Mitchell Tech culinary students.

Stevens High School — ProStart

ProStart is a national high school culinary and restaurant management program. The ACF Black Hills Chapter supports the ProStart program at Stevens High School in Rapid City, helping students develop foundational culinary skills and explore careers in the food service industry.
